BT sport - Blind Football
|
Cracking game of blind football on BT sport right now. Some tremendous skill, dribbling at pace with no eyes on the ball, mixed in with some outrageous air shots and goalmouth scrambles.
1-0 at the moment and the keeper nearly had her head taken off with some wild swings in the goalmouth scramble.
Much more entertaining than I would have expected. Definitely a better watch than most of England’s performances in the Euros

Irish.
I was impressed with the skill level. Saw a couple of fellas dribbling at pace maintaining control of the ball before unleashing venomous strikes at the end of it. God knows how they knew where the goal was but they got them on target more often than not.
I've seen plenty of wingers in a West Ham shirt struggle to do that with eyes wide open

That’s absolutely brilliant. The passion and the desire to win and the love of the game. Fair play to everyone of them. Huge Respect.

I don't see the point in it.
If the wall for a free kick is in the wrong place making the goalie positioned in the incorrect place, would the commentators call this a blind spot or a spot

Has to be up there with woman’s football as regards a spectator sport.

Blind cricket has a bell in the ball. The bowler has to shout out before they bowl & think the ball has to bounce twice. Was a feature where Steve Waugh joined in with some blind cricketers in India when he was working on his photography book there.

No doubt they can all score from the penalty spot.

There were some scything challenges.
Ended in penalties. Very well struck they were too. No need to deface any murals after that.
